Opie's Girl
Opie’s Girl is a powerhouse 4y 15.3h bay TB mare. Compact and solidly built (riders in her videos are 5’7 and 5’8). She is an above average mover with a fantastic canter. Bold and very rideable with natural balance. She will make a phenomenal dressage, jumper or event horse.
While she is a straightforward and easily rateable ride, she is best suited for a rider comfortable with a more forward feel. She is currently ridden 2-3x/week by myself – an amateur rider with OTTB experience but also health issues that make consistent and effective riding a bit of a challenge – so she does not require technical skills and should be well suited to an average amateur schedule or better.
Opie has been off track for approximately 3 months and only recently restarted. She is still developing stronger, longer muscles and her movement should continue to improve greatly with work. She has been treated for ulcers but does crib occasionally throughout the day. Her love language does not include hugs and extensive grooming sessions but she is personable and enjoys people otherwise. Other than a temporary knot from recently rapping her front cannon on the run in, no known injuries or other vices.

Nell's Bells
Nell’s Bells is an 8y 16.3h mare with a huge build and tremendous promise in the right hands. She is one of my favorite-ever rides and I am certain will be someone else’s as well. She is sensitive with big emotions; highly intelligent and a very willing partner for a rider who is committed to a partnership based on fairness and trust. A hectic atmosphere is not her jam – she’ll likely excel in a smaller program or facility. She handles chaos and inconsistency with no problem at my busy personal property but did not jive with a bustling sales program.
She has fantastic movement, probably best suited for moving up the levels in dressage. With time she may develop the composure to handle trail rides or hunting but I feel that’s strongly dependent on her relationship with her rider. She is currently ridden 2-3x/week by myself – an amateur rider with OTTB experience but also health issues that make consistent and effective riding a bit of a challenge – so she doesn’t require perfection and should be well suited to an average amateur schedule or better. No vices or injuries. Retired sound from a racing career where she stayed with her breeder/owner/trainer throughout.

Prugova
Progova is a very lightly raced (5 starts) 5y 16.1h+ bay TB mare. She has had more than 4 months of downtime before being restarted – no reason other than winter timing. Has been barefoot but is currently shod in front.
She is super level headed and a nice mover, could be geared toward any show ring or just be a fun sidekick. Very willing, can-do attitude with a hint of mare. Has hacked out alone. Suitable for an intermediate+, forward-thinking rider. Currently being ridden 2=3x/week by myself – an amateur rider with OTTB experience but also health issues that make consistent and effective riding a bit of a challenge – so she should be well suited to an average amateur schedule or better.
We are currently fighting the good fight against monsoon-season scratches and she is on her way back from some foot soreness (too much sole behind) that caused some compensatory tightness, but otherwise no injures. No vices.
